I can`t take any credit for this one. As some of you might have read, I had my car recently repainted and although I thought the paint came out OK, the polish job after made the whole thing look terrible! I posted some pics of that mess, and got some great advice here. After some deliberation, I paid someone else to come out and fix it, and James and Devin from Lucky 7 detailing in Temecula, CA came through.

They focused strictly on the paint defects, since I knew it was going to take a while and I would prefer that I finish it off. These young men spent about 10 hours on this, and I couldn`t be happier with the result, and wouldn`t hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

They used Autoglym 03B, 02B and 01B since that was what they were used to using, and what looked like an edge white pad, but I missed some of it so can`t be 100% on all the pads.

This is what they started with, as I got it back from ther `detailer`

Looks great! What exhaust are you running? Do you scrape those side exit tips? I currently have no tails on mine because the car is so low that it scrapes them anyway. My car looks like it`s got no exhaust on it. :D

Wade, it`s a Pypes X pipe to Flowmaster 50`s to dynomax over the pumpkin pipes. The turnouts were fabbed by the exhaust guy. I have new tips to replace those, they`re getting a little beat up. I don`t drag now, but I`ve got Hotchkis springs going in next week, so we`ll see then. It`s only supposed to be 1" drop fom stock, and with 167K on it, I`m sure my stock springs are sagging a bit. With the huge overhang on these cars I`ll probably drag the bumper first!

Nice ride, you can`t go wrong with older Impala`s no matter what year!
