Can i wax the bottom plastic cladding (sp) trim on a Jeep Grand Cherekee? As in not leaving the white residue?
My wax choices are,
Aquawax
NXT 2.0
Megs 16
Collinite 845
Megs 21
Megs 26

Klasse AIO or P21S would be my choice.

Toyman- Different plastics are, well, different...so it`s risky to generalize.
Of the products on your list, I`ve never had any staining issues from 845. NONE. I use it on black plastic and other such surfaces all the time, just did the textured black roofrack and the black plastic antennas/trim/etc. of the Denali XL with it. When it finally *fails* it`ll sometimes show white staining, but once you clean the surfaces up and reapply it`s good as new again. And that failure won`t happen for a good long time. Of the stuff on your list that`d be my choice, but again, I`ve never done a Jeep so I can`t make any promises.
I`ve *very seldom* had problems from #16 but I use a W-O-W-O application with it in this case.
I wouldn`t *expect* a problem from #26 or the AW, and I`d be pretty confident about that...but it`s just a guess.
I can`t even hazard a guess about the others, but I wouldn`t try the NXT myself.
