Ok, what in the world is the difference between the TOL purple foam wool pad, and the AG purple foam wool pad.

Supposedly AG`s is 1" thick, and TOL is 3/4" thick. Is it going to make a huge difference?

Actually, on the Lake Country web site, there is a 3/4" and 1" available. So it may not be a typo.

Check Lake Country (http://www.lakecountrymfg.com/foamedwoolpads.html) again.

Hmm...is the foam wool pad better than just foam? Or would you just use wool (or the foam wool) for really tough corrections?

Foamed wool is for cutting with a compound. It`s more efective than foam-and safer on edges and ridges.

I`ve order these pads from AG and TOL, there is no difference in the pad, however, TOL is 4 bucks cheaper than AG per pad, even with the 3 pac or 6 pack deals from AG, TOL is still cheaper. I just verified this before posting.

Are you using it with a PC or a rotary?

Do you guys think the shorter nap would give more bit as the nap will not lay down as much?
