I received today those towels and they are really really soft...

i guess i have to wash them first before the first use..

Is it OK to put them just in a bucket of water or do i have to use a detergent??

Just run em through the clothes washer. Hope you like them as much as I do. :)

I would use a small amount of detergent w/o any fabric softener.

as BEE stated, wash them through the washer like you would any of your other mf towels. once they are washed, put them in the dryer on the lowest heat setting with NO fabric softener/dryer sheet. they`ll even fluff up even more once they are washed & dried!!

I just got my pack and WOW these things are fluffy and smooth as can be on paint! Only problem is that they are 12x16 instead of the standard 16x16, makes for an uneven fold when buffing a panel IMO. But I guess there so thick I wouldnt need to fold them at all when buffing. Great towels though:dance, wish I bought more of those when I first got all my MF and saved a load of cash!
