Just bought a bottle of 303 HTFG to protect the seats of my new Honda Civic Si 2008. I notice on the bottle the following:

Directions: Material should be thoroughly cleaned and dry. Spray until evenly wet, overlapping spray areas. Allow treated fabric to dry thoroughly before use. Protect adjacent areas from over spray. Immediately wipe up any over spray before it dries. Note: 303 HTFG can be applied with an approved solvent type sprayer, brush or roller. Not for vinyl, clear vinyl, plastics, rubber, fiberglass or imitation suede.

My seats looke like they are made of suede but I`m not sure. Maybe imitation suede? I have no clue, neither the sale representant. Can anyone help?

I`m "pretty sure" that those seats are Alcantara or "sueded" microfiber. Err on the safe side... don`t use it. If you "must" use it, try in an inconspicuous location, like behind the seat near the footwell.

Hope this helps ya out,

Mike
