To remove oils following polishing, I was wondering if washing with Dawn would be as effective as an IPA wipedown?

Guess it would work, but IPA would be a wipe down and not a wash. Much easier IMO

The best choice would be Prep Solv.

If there is much dust left over from polishing, I like to do a quick wash to get rid of it.
