I was enjoying my Saturday afternoon, browsing for detailing equipment after a show and shine in Toronto, when I spotted this at a Canadian Tire for $29.99!

P.S. The CT was in Vaughan near Vaughan Mills Mall.

It`s amazing the amount of swirls this unit picks up. It seems to struggle though on metallic silver (titanium silver).

Wow, no love for the Brinkmann in Noma form. Canucks, where are you?

Does it really use LED`s as the package suggests?? The Brinkmans I have are Halogens, which means short battery life when both bulbs are used at the same time.

Looks like a *very* nice light.

Yeah, it`s a dual setup. One light is Xenon (it`s yellowish white but it`s not halogen), and the other is LED. LED battery life is 80 hours but it`s next to useless aside from finding your way on a dark night.

I don`t think there is a way to run both at the same time, but maybe there is..

Ya know, the bulbs in my Brinkman are Xenon. Both of em. There`s a switch that allows you to either use one or both bulbs at the same time. It`s a good defect finding light, for sure.

Mine has a switch to stop the trigger from pulling and one to switch between xenon and led. No switch for true dual xenon.

I don`t think it helps to have two xenons working at the same time, really. One is plenty for finding defects. Having the other one on just hurts the eyes.

That light looks like a very good find.
