View Full Version : Looking for 3M 3434(light blue) tape
Cant find this tape anywhere except in the UK, its the low adhesive light blue kind. Anyone know where I can get some in the US or a similar low adhesive tape?

The 3M painter`s tape leaves less glue residue and removes easily.

This specific tape, from what I`m told leaves no residue behind and is meant for taping auto paint. Most UK detailers use this kind. I use 3M blue tape now and its labled lower adhesive but its not great for use on paint. I just dont like tape residue all over the car after polishing.

3M makes a green tape that IIRC is intended for auto use. I`ve had great luck with it, and they make a handy 1/4" thick type for small trim and pinstripes.

If you navigate that page, you can get to other widths. Ignore the picture, this is the 233+ green tape that I think Timmah is referring to.
If I cant get the 3434 I will get that, thanks for the info. Anybody find the 3M 3434 in the US, do they even have it in the US??
