Hi Guys

The car took a short break recently and I applied 2 coats of DODO Supernatural wax over some RMG on the Lancer and left it to bake it in the sun and sit in the rain.

Must say im pretty impressed by the durability of the wax, lots of birds crap was on the carand it all slid off. No etchings no lumps stuck on the car so i was pretty happy with that!

I gave it a wash last night and then went out and took some pictures today, its holding up really well. Slightly dusty from all the pollen but it seems to work a treat on making both metalic pop while still giving some reflections in the sun. On the shaded side it has really nice wetness excellent depth. Hardly darkening of the paintwork either.

The wax costs some £94/$180! But you can get a sample that will do the Lancer 4 or maybe 5 times for £15. This is the first Dodo i have been totally impressed with, im not sure if its worth the £94/$180 i need to consider some other options but its certantly proving to be a fantastic product. If you want to blow £15/$30 on a premium product just for fun or for the summer go ahead with this, you wont be wasting your money!

I applied it with a foam pad to the whole car then buffed, it goes on very thin and comes off very easily. There is dodgy smell, no weird colours etc. Its just a straight up wax that gives very good results.

Just a few snaps:

Shaded side, your eyes might be dragged to the front of the car, however notice the left hand side of the bumper, the depth is incredable you can see right up the street behind the car:

Its good to seem some reflection in the sun shots as well, pollen is already settling:

Recommended product for £15, esp. if you want to dable with the higer end products. You can get it on ebay.co.uk

Obviously the car has been machined polished to a high level of correction not to long ago. As with most of my cars, low miliage and well maintained so nothing to intreasting to swirl wise share.

Enjoy!

it looks fantastic:up I`ve seen a few people talk about the supernatural giving it very high praise, and for $30 thats a steal! I just went on a $500 wax bender last week. do you know how much shipping is?

Thanks for the comments!

A sample pot is £15/$30 and it weighs exactly 30g so i dont think it could cost more then about $8 to send! You could cover a Lancer about 4-5 times with 30g with a moist foam app. It goes on very thin and almost invisible!

Thanks guys, i think the RMG helps with the pop compared to DODOs only Lime Prime, but RMG doesnt hide swirls marks so much.

reaper34 after your $500 of wax this $40 amount would only be a drop :D

This is acutally the size of the sample container:

That looks really good. I might have to try some of that and the Lime Prime Lite.

i got a sample pot and also some `born to be mild` wash and some lime prime lite. The lime prime lite is pretty cool. Havent had time to try the SN or the wash yet. But i hope i get the results you did.

That is excellent depth, especially for a lighter color. :)
