Good morning,

Did this Mercedes a few weeks ago...

This vehicle belongs to the gentleman with the Ford GT and the Mercedes-Benz S63. Unlike these two vehicles, this GL is the true workhorse of the family. It`s got a smidge over 20K miles on it and has never been waxed. Sits outsite quite a bit and has only seen automatic car washes. I`m giving it a full detail in a few weeks (it really needs a heavy polishing) but the owner just wanted it washed and sealed for now.

1) Foam with Citrus Wash `n Gloss

2) Wash with Citrus Wash `n Gloss and ShMITT

3) Megs Multi Piece on the wheels, with variety of Black Magic brushes to get them clean

4) Dried with CG Waffle Weave

5) Zaino Z1

6) Zaino Z5

7) Zaino Z2 Pro

- Black Magic Titanium Gel topped with Poorboys Natural Look on tires

- 1Z Cockpit Premium on all outside plastic pieces and all interior plastic pieces

- Adam`s Undercarriage Spray on wheel wells

- Stoner`s IG on windows

- CG Pro Detailer on wheels

Anyways, here some pics...

Why would you use Cockpit Premium on outside pieces? I love Cockpit Premium, but I don`t understand why you would use it on the outside. It has no UV protection. I understand Tiefenpflueger or Plastik Reineger (I am sure I mispelled one or both of those names!) as I would think they would be more appropriate.

Car looks good. Just wondering.

I use it is safe and because it works. It cleans the plastic after a proper wash and gives it a little bit more shine that OEM.
