I actually use the Absorber. I use to hate these things but my friends had a black car and swore by it. I tried it out, no scratches or swirls.

I use meguiars WW and california drying towels.

Only thing I dont like about the california drying towels is they tend to `grab` the paint. Even if its waxed they dont glide over the surface. Soft as heck though.

You might find some towels as good as Ranney`s but I doubt they will be any better. And I am positive that the customer service Ranney provides at PakShak is as good as it gets....period.

there are alot of good options out there (waffle weaves/microfiber drying towels) and as long as it doesn`t scratch, you`re good to go...

.........the pakshak 25" x 36" Ultra-Soft Waffle Weave Micro Fiber Towel, seems good quality, what do you guys think?..........That is a great WW..... that ultra-soft WW with the satin border is my favorite style WW drying towel. I`d order more than one, and as someone else mentioned, Pakshak service is hard to beat. E-mail Ranney and tell him you`re a member of Autopia for a discount.

Sonus and Blue Perl WW for me. Both available through Autopia (pardon the shameless plug.)

Danase Waffle Weave. No tags, unlike the Cobras.

Tags? No prob, use a pair of mustache scissors and cut close to the seam, under the binding.
