Well I`m debating among products, everytime I seem to have made a choice it`s back to the drawing board. At first I`m thinkin Souveran, then Natty`s Blue, now I`m thinking Clearkote`s Carnauba Moose Wax - what should I be rolling with? I hear so much great stuff about Natty`s Blue but then I read a slew of negative comments about it in comparison to CMW & Souveran. I`d rather not swallow the cost of souveran but I will if I have to. Durability is not critical nor all that important to me, I`m after the :wow: factor.
I also want to minimize the number of steps, preferably a two step approach instead of 3 or more but let me know what will work best.
Here are the bunch of combo`s I`m looking at now for application on my relatively new Honda in Nighthawk Black Pearl....
AIO/NB
AIO/RMG/NB
RMG/CMW
RMG/Souveran
AIO/Souveran
AIO/RMG/Souveran
maybe FMJ?
...or other???
What combination is going to give the most pop and wet/slick look to my black car? :cooleek:
One thing that confuses me though is people like to post some of the sickest looking pics of their vehicles and then go on to talk about what they`ll try next time as if what they just pulled off wasn`t amazing, lol. I guess it`s the autopia culture.
Thanks for your help & suggestions.

RMG/CMW will give you the blackest look. Souveran has a somewhat more 3D look to it. I use CMW a lot more than Souveran both on my own car and my customers. I really like the darkening effect and it is also more durable.

is Klasse AIO needed before using RMG or is it ok to go without?

Just for examples sake, here are some pics of my last full detail of my Daytona Blue 350Z - color is a metallic pearl blue or something...
Polished with SIP/106FF
Coated with RMG/NB

So far, I`ve been very pleased with the combination and have only applied another coat of wax once since that detail (~1 month later).
I think next time I`ll try P21S 100%

Also, my piece of crap camera does not even come close to doing this car justice.

You can tell through the reflections that it`s looking amazing but yes, a different camera would help. Though I am sorta surprised you went with the P21S 100% as the topper. I guess technique is really what it`s all about. Nice detailing!! :woohoo:

First of all, I don`t think I`d question any recommendation from Scottwax...the guy knows his stuff!
Just based on my experience as a Acura NBP owner, you really need to make sure that the surface is finished off properly and ready for whatever glaze/wax/whatever you want to top it off with. My favorite combo (for now...I WILL try others!) is polishing with Poli-Seal, then Danase Wet Glaze, and then P21S 100%. I personally haven`t tried RMG/CMW, so I can`t comment or compare.

TSC17: I absolutely agree with you on your Scottwax comment! I`ve learned so much from the info he shares over the past few years. (Bence, Accumulator, blkZ28Conv etc.) Your car looks lickabley dripping wet! Gorgeous car, man! Great work! Poli-Seal/DWG has been a proven winner as a base for my black 300C. Poli-Seal/RMG as well.(other combos as well) Now, while I won`t get into the debate on which "one" nuba to top that combo with because all of us have different tastes, I do suggest the following: CMW, Souveran, Meg`s#26 Paste, CG 5050, Pete`s 53, FK Pink Wax, P21S, Trade Secret, Max Wax, Natty` Blue, Natty`s etc. Just to name a few. lol. Lately, I`m on a Pink Wax bender. ( a little bit brighter finish ) On the sealant side of things, My eye really likes AJT on my black paint. I use that over a KAIO/DWG base. AW or FK425 after washes. Talk about a gloss "wow" factor.

We could all post 1000 pics. If you want wet + slick at the expense of depth/darkening then imo you go with a sealant (Opti Seal, Any of the Zainos, Werkstatt stuff, Jetseal, etc...). If you want to use a wax P21S 100% is very wet and slick. Souveran/CMW will noticably darken paint, and give great depth, both are wet but not as wet/slick as sealants.
*Personally* if I owned an NBP car and wanted to spend under $100 I`d go with RMG or P21S PWC under Souveran or Victoria Wax.

Agreed. RMG/CMW is a crazy combo on black.

so what kind of differences would i see between the poli-seal/DWG combo and RMG/CMW?
and from what i understand wouldn`t RMG needs to put on a base that`s already well prepped (with something like poliseal or AIO) as it doesn`t act as a cleaner or fix up paint imperfections?
and TSC17 I`m totally impressed with what you`ve done on your nbp acura!! At the end of the day though, with so many amazing combo`s, is there really a whole lot of difference or is really about how well you apply/remove/buff/polish the products & vehicle?
I`m especially looking for opinions from those who have tried numerous combo`s and waxes!!
Thanks for your help!!

No one has mentioned the DWG and UPGP combo yet. That seems to be a big hit lately.
