Unfortunately from my last click and brag we have detailed 27 other cars. This means I am now backed up by over 60 cars, so I don`t know how many I will have the time to share with you guys. Also, we have been so busy that I really haven`t been documenting the details we have been doing, but rather taking a few photo`s here and there.

The owner of this car had just recieved a red `08 F430, but couldn`t stand the color (he likes to be different) even after we detailed it. He returned the Rosso Corsa Ferrari and took delivery of this beautiful Grigio Silverstone F430 Spyder. As will all new Ferrari`s I have detailed (this being the 23rd), the paint was far from perfect and required a days worth of work to get this amazing car in the shape required by my client.

Here are a couple picture of the red `08 F430 after being detailed, but before being returned....

Our new car package is designed to be the fullest, most comprehensive detail designed for new cars avialable.

Brian and I began by treating the paint with FK1`s decontamination system to ensure we where working with the cleanest paint possible. After throughly decontaminated and washing the entire exterior, we used Sonus gray clay to remove what felt like light overspray on serveral spots, then clayed the rest of the car using Zaino Z18 clay and cut ONR as lube until the paint was perfectly smooth.

After throughly drying the Ferrari, we pulled into the garage and set a 500w Halogen light to inspect for paint damage. Because of the high flake content of the paint, it was very hard to spot defects except at angles. However this Ferrari had it all: hologramming, swirls, rids, deep scratches, etc... Paint gauge readings where all over the place, not uncommon on Ferrari`s, but nothing to alarm us to a repaint. Very typical of the 20+ brand new Ferraris that Bella Macchina has perfected in the last couple of months.

The paint work was polished using a variety of pads from Lake Country and Meguiar`s, and various Menzerna, 1Z, and Meguiar`s polishes until it was absolutely perfect. After polishing the paint was wiped down with DuPont Prep-Sol to remove any oils that could lead to false appearance and the potential of pad abrasion showing up later on. After determining the paint was perfect, we washed the car using Z7 soap from Zaino, then reinspecting.

The wheels where clayed with Sonus Gray, then sealed inside and out using Zaino Z-AIO topped with two coats of Z5pro mixed with ZFX. The tires where cleaned with Eimann Fabrik Tire Cleaner, then dressed with two coats of Zaino Z16, allowed to dry for two hours between coats. The brake calipers recieved Rejex to for protectant. The carbon ceramic brakes do not produce brake dust, so these rims should look great for quite a length of time.

All plastic was removed from the interior carbon pieces, which where hand polished with Z-PC, then topped with Z-AIO plus two coats of Z5pro mixed with ZFX. The leather was cleaned and conditioned using Leather Master`s products, then protected with 303 Protectant, since this car will see a lot of time with top down. All weather stripping and rubber was protected with 1Z`s Gummi Phledge. The jambs themselves.

The engine was wiped down using Meguiars` APC 10:1, then rinised clean using de-ionized water, and allowed to dry. The metal work under the bonnet was polished by hand using Mother`s Mag and Aluminum polish, then the engine was coated with CD2 for maximum protection.

The glass was cleaned with Meguiars`s ProLine Window Cleaner and sealed with JW`s Twins (Prime Strong and Acrylic Trigger) inside and out. The top was cleaned and sealed using RaggTopp products. The paint work then recieved Meguiars` #7 by hand topped with carnuaba wax for two coats as the icing on the cake.

As you can see, the lighting conditions greatly effect the color reflection of the car. In bright light, Grigio Silverstone takes on a very airy, almost liquidy smooth siver hue, where as in the shadows its deep and reflective. In the direct sun (which was hard to capture because of the cloud cover and the time of day we finished) it is very bronze because of the crazy flake in paint.

The $7000 dollar Scuderia Shield option... Each shield is baked ceramic and is hand made by little old ladies at the factory in Modena.

Must have some status to be able to return one of the hardest vehicles to get your hands on for a new colour!

That job is certainly one of the most in-depth I know of for a new vehicle; but it sounds like the customer would have it no other way - my type of customer :).

Car looks absolutely phenomenal. You guys put out some incredible work. Keep it up!

dont like those rollbars around each seat - other than that - sick.

i noticed the red one, had black ones - which looked better imo

(i`d have the roll bars painted to match the exterior paint, as opposed to that `saddle leather` color !! ))
