OK...

My friend dives an `04 Audi TT 3.2 Quattro, Moro Blue. I`m pretty much the car care guru around my neck of the woods, but I wanted to run this past everyone before I start my next project.

The Audi unfortunately has several hairline scratches and small (dime size) abraisions that will be repaired this Friday morning.

In order to prep the paint, I plan to wash/dry the car, clay bar the entire vehicle, then repeat the process (just to make sure I get EVERYTHING off his clearcoat).

This way, theoretically, the shop that`s correcting his paint will have the cleanest possible surface to work with.

Again, I just plan on clay barring his car (Meguires Clay Kit), and purposefully not applying a clearcoat cleanser (I use Zymol cleaning wax) or any finishing wax/polish.

Does this process sound about right?
