Looking in Walmart today in the kitchen section and came across a towel where the sole composition was bamboo. It was extremely soft to the touch and I was wondering if anyone has tried one of these in place of a microfiber?

Don`t know about a towel but bamboo was a hyped up fiber in the golf industry for shirts and socks. Very comfortable but not terribly absorbent and took forever to dry in the dryer. So, not sure if its a good drying towel for cars.

My understanding as well. They will also be priced higher then a MF.
