How does this sound for a starter kit? Please let me know if I`m missing anything vital..

-PC 7424 from coastal tools

-5" backing plate

-3 orange 5.5" LLC pads

-3 yellow 5.5" LLC pads

-3 gray 5.5" LLC pads

-XMT pad conditioner/cleaner

-4 Cobra Microfiber towels

-Menzerna SIP

-Menzerna 106ff

All for about $300. How does the kit sound?

Also, is the XMT pad conditioner/cleaner a necessary product or is there a cheaper way to condition the pads?

Thanks

Pad conditioner and cleaner is a total rip off. No reason to get either. I doubt you would need 3 gray LC pads but you will need some white. 3 yellow is probably a little excessive as well.

Where are you located?

I would get some white polishing pads...and you dont need the "pad conditioner"

If youre sure you want 9 pads. Get 1 yellow, 2 orange 3 white all 6in pads then get some 4in pads and a 2.5 in backing plate

Sorry, I meant 3 white pads instead of 3 yellow. I`m located in Sacramento. I read that dawn spray is good for cleaning the pads, but do I need a product to condition the pads before using them?
