Well, the aftermath of detailing an aircraft is that everything I bought specifically for the job has now been covered in petroleum. I would like to save at least the buckets, so I was curious what all of you use to remove the petroleum from your tools, and hopefully clean mitts as well. I have tried dawn, which isn`t nearly powerful enough - and I don`t want to waste a bunch of solvent by soaking my buckets and mitts in the stuff, stinking up my garage.

A product recommended on another board a few months back was a stain removing spray, I believe a gel spray, that cleaned them right up. It was supposedly found in the grocery store cleaning isle. For clarification, it wasn`t for actual detailing, just to clean the mitts.

Regardless, let me know.
