ok so i have a PC, but i think i want something a little more powerful. i have a hitachi rotory, but want something DA. is the g110 even in the same league as the xc3401?? i see there is a huge price difference on autogeek and is that the cheapest place to get these machines? maybe a whole sale place?

I have the g110 and it is a solid machine but IMO it would be in the same category as the UDM and PC. The 3401 is in a different category above the RO category and below the rotary category. If you have a PC and want more power go with the 3401.

so basically the pc and meg are the same thing, even though meg claims it is more powerful?

Same type of machine and yes it is more powerful. That being said the difference in power between the two is nowhere near the difference between the PC and the FLEX.

At speed 6 these are the ratings:

A)PC/UDM = 6,000 OPM

B)G110 = 6,700 OPM

C)FLEX = 9,600 OPM + 480 RPM

Just out of curiosity. Why do you want a more powerful DA when you have a Rotary? The PC should be fine for most mild/medium corrections.

Furthermore, why not just get the Dynabrade addon for Rotaries. Then you can attach that device and have a D.A polisher in a jiff.

If you are interested in reading more there`s a great thread by Dents & Details about it.
