What is a good OTC tire cleaner? I tried using Simple Green with a tire brush but for me it`s too much of a hassle so I`d rather have a dedicated spray or aerosol can to clean them and just rinse off with water.

OTC? Eagle One gets my vote... widely available at your local Wal-Mart. This product works VERY well.

Eagle One gets my vote for OTC also.

Like said above though, I`ve never used anything that you could just spray on and hose off. Kind of akin to touchless car washes or spraying your car with a pressure washer. You`ll get off a certain amount of stuff, but you won`t really get it clean without touching it.

Bleche-wite with a megs tire brush.

The eagle one stuff is great on rims but Ive never tried it on tires. If you do use bleche wite, do not get it on the rims and do not inhale it. :grinno:

Be careful with Bleche-Wite as it can do harm to painted parts (clear coated rims) plus alloys.

I use a good brush plus diluted car wash on my tires and it works very well and it is not harsh. Won`t hurt your pain or rims either. I put it in a spray bottle.

Dilution varies with the tire condition (stronger in winter crap) (weaker in summer time) and it`s the way I get rid of Car wash soap I don`t favor anymore.

They are back to calling AW&TC A2Z? I had a bad browning experience with it, I would recommend a regular APC, like...er...Simple Green? I used the lemon Simple Green to get work off the browning I got from the A2Z. Edit: But as was previously mentioned....you gotta scrub scrub scrub.
