Hey guys, i was wondering if you guys could help me with something. Im about to start detailing my car with a pc, and had a few questions about edges. On my car, the roof has indents on the sides, and i was hoping you guys could tell me the best way to go about using a pc around these. Heres a pic of what they look like:

Can i use the pc at speed 5 or 6 on those indents like on the rest of the roof, or should i tape off the edge so i dont burn the paint off? Thanks!

You should have no problems using a PC. Just use common sense and dont leave in one spot, keep the pc moving and you`ll be ok.

Yeah, *UNLESS* the pait has somehow been previously thinned in those areas. I`m always saying "the PC is so mild, just don`t worry about it" but OTOH I`ve cut through very thin single stage on edges like that when I didn`t consider the vehicle`s (unknown) past history.

But to be honest, if it were mine I`d probably go the "don`t worry about it" route.

Be sure to "tape off" the weather stripping or areas that you don`t want to strip polish or wax from after the pc.
