just curious ...

is there a GUIDE for how many pictures to take during a detail?

I`d be glad to provide the analysis of my detail this week - just so I don`t tick anyone off with too many or too little photos?

thanks!

Pretty much as many as you think it takes to show the difference you made. No need to post before and after photos that look the same. Check the Click and Brag section what others do.

the click and brag has in my opinion - overkill on some of the details?

I can`t distiguish between some of them?

If you`re photographing swirls, just make sure you have a dark background with ample lighting and use the same lighting in the before as you do in the afters from the same angle as well.

For me it really depends on what the process is which will determine how many pics I take. However I do not post up every single pic, some show quality details have taken 30 hours and well over 200 pics so....

If a client is spend over $1000 then you can bet the process will be highly documented.:buffing:

I usually take 5-10 photos per hour, documenting the work. A good 50% of them turn out to be crap, so I pick the best 10 or so for most posts, and the best 20-30 for show-level jobs.
