Since both of these items are non-existent in the US market, I had to go overseas to get them.

I placed my order with Rich at Polished Bliss on Tuesday night last week, which is Wednesday morning in the UK. We had sent a few e-mails back and forth regarding shipments to the US, availability of products here, and proper fitment for what I was looking for. He was beyond helpful in answering all of my assuredly nagging questions.

Received this Monday morning. Could not have possibly been happier with everything.

Having the Blue Ultrafina finishing pads in the smaller size is a real treat. I typically don`t use the 8in pads, so these smaller ones absolutely fit the bill.

The backing plate is the best that I have used bar none. Seems to help with heat control a little bit better than my standard Megs plate, and is also nicer in dealing with rolling panels and slight contours since the foam is very soft.

Just an overall really great experience from everyone at Polished Bliss and I really wanted to say thank you and let you guys know that although the dollar sucks against the pound right now, to get some stuff you can`t get here in the US they really make it worth it.

Now...on to the drool inducers.

for once being in the UK works in my favour ;)

I have loads of the 6" blue and black 3M pads as well as the BP, and have just found a very similar BP for 3.5/4" pads as well.... he pads are excellent and sooo soft :D

I actually tried to get the smaller backing plate as well, but they don`t make it in a 5/8th in thread pattern. So it won`t work here in the US. Bummer.
