I want some suggestions as to which menz polish to use for my 06 IS250 (Matador Mica Red). It has some minor swirls and scratches. I used FPII with white Sonus SFX pad last year and was disappointed with swirl reduction after one usage. Is this a product or technique problem?

if you still have the Fpii, then get IP of SIP and use with white pad of orange pad, i am pretty sure lexus has soft paint, correct?

like what others have said MZ IP on a white pad should do the trick.

If you only have minor swirls, I would not go with the IP. Lexus cc is one of the softest around, hence the easiest to correct. 106ff with a white pad should be more than enough. I never use anything stronger than Sonus SFX 2 or 106ff with a white pad on my Lexus and that always does the job. Only once did I have to use the orange pad with SFX 2 after a really bad experience with a natural sea sponge that marred the paint really bad. IP OR SIP WOULD BE OVERKILL ON A LEXUS, IMO. I know others here have used SIP and orange pad on a Lexus before, but I don`t think there is a need to go to something that abrasive on this type of car unless that paint is absolutely trashed. If 106ff with a white pad does not do the job, it might be the technique, then you would need to slow down and apply more pressure.
