I currently have a Craftsman 5hp wet/dry vacuum and I was wondering about the extraction power of this versus the LGCM/SpotBot and whether purchasing the LGCM/SpotBot would be necessary if I already have the Craftsman.

Please help, hehe. Thanks in advance!

I don`t think your results would be any better with an LGCM or a SpotBot. What you would really pay for in the LGCM/SpotBot is the capability of spraying clean, rinse water and extracting it while also having the ability to see how clean/dirty the water is that you`re pulling up. As far as extracting power goes, your shopvac would probably be a little more powerful.

Yeah, I definitely like the idea of seeing what I`m extracting from the carpets/upholstery. It`s too bad they don`t have any clear plastic attachments (that I know of) for wet/dry vacuums...
