This is a buddy`s daily driver. I don`t know the exact mods under the hood, but it`s well....let`s just say....peppy.

His show car is a Evo VII that runs 946 AWD HP. I get to work on that one next month. Both are dyno tuned by a local speed shop.

Anyway, process for this one was:

Exterior :

Local Coin Wash - Quick Spray down / Salt removal

Race back home :chuckle:

Wash with a mix of ONR and Quick and Easy Wash (trying to use up old Q&EW)

Debadged the trunk

Clay w/ Meguiars Mild - 3 hours of claying - Z6 as lube

Rewash ONR and Q&EW

Meguiars #83 (DACP) - LC Yellow Cut Pad - Dewalt 849 - Speed 1200 to 1500

ZPC - Meguairs Cut Pad - Via PC Speed 5-6

ZAIO - Meguiars Cut Pad - Via PC Speed 4-5

Z6 wipedown

Z5 x 1

Z2 x 1

Z16 on Tires x2

Interior :

Washed windows

Quick wipe down with soapy water

303 on everything

I`m going to do the carpets once the weather stays above 50 for more than a day here in the mid-west

Pics don`t do it justice. This was one of the coolest metalic blues I`ve ever seen....

That first picture is just beautiful!! I don`t like the debadging though.

love how those cars are made. I just wished they would`ve made the interior a little bit nicer for the amount paid for the car.

Nice job. Agree about the debadging, but hey, as long as the owner likes it. I`m curious to see the 946HP Evo!

Thanks for the comments, everyone ! I should have explained the debadging....He wanted the old badges off, so he can install "EVOLUTION IX" in a straight line across the trunk.

Similar to the attached picture, but minus the Mitsu badge and the Lancer badge.

I`m guessing the local speed shop is AMS? As far as I know they are the only ones that have made that much power with the evo. Very impressive to see their 9** awd hp beast go down the quarter.
