what is the safest combo (brush and cleaner) for chrome plated rims without scratching them??

I dont think you can easily scratch the chrome, it`s too hard. So just use any softer brush.
(Yesterday I was preparing chrome handles for re-chroming, I tried sanding it with 3000 grit sandpaper and it did almost no sanding scratches, it is very hard...)
