I had some left over Mothers wax and Meguiars wax.

So I decided to make my own wax applicator with a old spray and wash stain stick. Get a milk jug and use for a funnel .

Melt the wax in a double boiler (I used one of the old wax cans.)

Bring water to a boil and turn off the heat , stir until all has melted and pour into the stain stick and let cool.

After it has cooled

You are ready to use your new wax applicator.

That`s pretty cool! I always thought the Griots Garage one was a great idea.

Hmmm, I do have a stick of deodorant that`s almost empty.

No more than 5 min. to melt wax after water comes to a boil. Takes longer to cool down.

You mean this one?

Carnauba Wax Stick - Waxes & Sealants - Waxing - Car Care - Griot`s Garage (http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/car+care/car+waxing/car+waxes+and+sealants/carnauba+wax+stick%2C++3.5+ounces.do?search=basic&keyword=wax&sortby=newArrivals&page=1)

This is a cool idea. Too bad I`m into using sealants now. Although I guess it can`t hurt to add a nice coat of wax on top of the sealant to make the fine metal flakes "pop" on my Benz...
