Are you a social bookmark junkie?

Social bookmarking is a method for Internet users to store, organize, search, and manage bookmarks of web pages on the Internet with the help of metadata.

In a social bookmarking system, users save links to web pages that they want to remember and/or share. These bookmarks are usually public, and can be saved privately, shared only with specified people or groups, shared only inside certain networks, or another combination of public and private domains. The allowed people can usually view these bookmarks chronologically, by category or tags, or via a search engine.

For social networking sites like Autopia.org, social bookmarking is very important as it helps new people find us. If you find a page on Autopia useful and interesting, please submit it to your favorite bookmark system.

I`ve never heard of social bookmarking. I read the post but im still confused on how to do this. Do I post the bookmarks to a dedicated bookmarking site? If so, what are some SBing sites?

First, make sure you`re viewing the thread itself, not the home page:

http://autopia.org/forum/autopia-news/104757-do-you-create-social-bookmarks.html

See the "Submit Tools" drop down above the thread? Click on it and you can see aome of the most popular sites. You need to join to be able to use their service.

If you`d like to know more about it, see this short article:
