Detailed: 2001 BMW 325i



My dad deserves everything and including a fully detailed car. He has only had it for a month or so and I could tell it desperately needed to be cleaned up. Didn’t get to do the interior, also have to do something about those moldings and get a few cosmetic items to make the exterior more cleaner.

Also has anyone had this happen to them with a few pads?



First pad I`m assuming removed oxidized paint? Purchased from Chemical Guys.

Next pad was my main pad I used it through the entire detail until it started to fall apart. This was my first time using it and I purchased it from Chemical Guys.

This was my saviour got this one from Autogeek and it was perfect throughout the clean up.

Great job on that. Looks amazing. From those shots it does not appear that the paint was oxidized at all. I wonder if you might have removed some healthy paint with that yellow pad/SIP combo or I could be totally wrong. :think:

I didn`t post pictures of the bumper but the paint was severely oxidized and I used that orange pad on it and it removed all the oxidation and let the paint nice and smooth just like the other pictures.

I took those pictures down the street from where I live. Here in Chandler there are a lot of man made lakes and this one happen to have office buildings and such.
