My pride and joy was scraped a week or so ago when Ohio had that huge blizzard, nothing terrible but it`s a downer regardless. I was wondering if there was some tricks of the trade I could apply to get the scrapes off, or at least less noticeable. I haven`t touched them with anything as I don`t want to make them any worse.

Images are large so I will link them:

Try going at it with a medium cut polish and a polishing pad at first to see how much you can remove with just that. From those pics, it looks like most of it will come out, depending on the depth of it. I can see a spot or two where it looks like it went down to primer though.

What equipment do you have?

I have a 10" Craftsman 2800RPM random orbital buffer/polisher (http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00910723000P?keyword=polisher) that I have yet to use (Christmas present) and a variety of car products, but no polisher. Can you recommend me a polisher product for this endeavor?
