This is the first time I`ve posted pictures of my truck on here and I think it`s a great set of pictures to start off! This was at the annual Lightning meet at Old Town in Orlando.

Here is the process I used:

Wash + clay bar with dish soap to remove any old wax

Wash entire truck after claying

Optimum Polish w/ PC, speed 2 then 5

PB EX-P sealant w/ PC, speed 2 then 5

ClearKote Carnauba by hand (that stuff dries super quick!)

Armor All extreme tire gel w/ applicator pad

Tonneau Tonic on tonneau cover

303 Vinyl protectant on dash and other pieces

Effn sweet. Haha, I love those trucks, and that EX-P/CMW combo is bananas on that truck!

Looks great love the color ;). But the only thing that isn`t sitting well with me is the pictures. They looked like that have been touched up? Maybe its just me...

Damn, that looks incredible. You obviously take very good care of your Lightning.

By the way, did you really clay before washing?

I was kind of thinking the same thing. If it really looks that good in person, I`m thoroughly impressed.

My camera takes really dull pictures for some reason, so I just changed the exposures greater and less on 2 different layers, then merged them. It`s a fake way of doing HDR. The original pictures are that reflective, the colors are just slightly duller because again I haven`t figured out how to operate my camera properly!

Thanks for all the great responses though guys!

Looks great....gotta love the SB L.....I`ve done the Old Town Show the last few years and its good fun. A lot of the L community gather over there for this. I really miss mine.

Looks like you did a fantastic job getting her nice and clean for the show......congrats!

They have the dyno out there again this year?

just observing here...the pics may look like a little color enhancement has been added - not unlike what a professional could do with a color enhancing filter on the lens... i do that for fall foliage etc....

but having said that...maybe not....all the greens in the trees etc look accurate. the peoples clothes and skin tones are accurate too...as does the sky.

i think it was just a perfect day for photography !

good job - and awesome blue !

Thanks for all the compliments guys!

By the way does anybody have any experience with the ClearKote Carnauba wax? If so, do you apply it by hand also? I barely had time to even work it in before it dried. I think it did an amazing job, but I just want to make sure I applied it right!!

Gorgeous Colour. Beautiful truck and the Clearkote really tops it off.

Have used CCW and never found super fast drying but maybe conditions were different.
