2004 Porsche Carrera, pretty much detail this one every 6-8 weeks. Goes fast, rarely have to polish...didn`t this time. Carnauba Moose removed with OCW, really gives excellent depth and wetness on silver. Ultima Tire/Trim on the plastic trim around the wipers, Armor All on the tires and fenderwells.

2004 Rolls Royce Phantom. Normally I`d have washed a couple of his employees vehicles at their main office. I get there, they say the big boss has called and wants the Rolls waxed...and I have 3 hours total. :nervous2:
Not only did he want it washed and waxed, but the interior touched up too. MF wipedown, leather dressed with Meguiars Gold Class Leather Conditioner.

I`ve been taking care of this car since he got in April of 2004 and I always thought this was just a nav screen...turns out it is also a TV!
http://www.autopia.org/gallery/data/500/2004_Rolls_Royce_Phantom_interior1.jpg
I used to wash it along with his employees cars but the past year, he has been dealing with a lot of knee and back pain and the car just isn`t there either often enough or long enough. Not sure where he gets it washed but they do a piss poor job, it really needs a good polishing. Not going to happen in 3 hours though, not sure it is worth it if he keeps taking it elsewhere for weekly washes. :nixweiss
Just gave it an ONR wash and a coat of NXT2.

2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Mega Cab. What a beast! Lots of tar or something on the passenger side, seemed to have a more plastic consistancy than tar though.

Trashed a clay bar!

After an ONR wash and Meguiars white clay:

Kind of hard to pick up the swirls (not too bad) on a day with hazy sunshine.

A few after shots (including the whole truck shot) using Meguiars #83 with a yellow Meguiars polishing pad at 1400 rpm, finishing at 1000 rpm.

Next step was 3M Ultrafina SE with a blue Ultrafina pad. Started off at 1200 rpm, up to 1800 rpm, finished out at 1000 rpm. Bed is polished, doors just the #83 step. My customer is next to me admiring the added wetness UF adds.

Good Lord that Rolls is SICK! I think that`s the first time you`ve posted pics of the interior too. It`s a damn shame he doesn`t let you take care of it.
Very nice wetness on the Dodge, too. :)

Beautifully job on that Phantom!!

Nice work Scott! I`ll bet that Ram took a couple minutes, huh? And the mats on the Phantom are the thickest I`ve seen, crazy! The porsche is my fav though very classy.
I recently got a 7428-how much time does it save you over your UDM or Cyclo on a typical job and would you want to sell your Cyclo?

Does NXT 2.0 stain trim like the original?
Great work!

Great work Scott. Did you end up picking up a Makita?? I wasn`t sure what rotary was sitting on the ground next to the truck.

Pat that looks like a Porter Cable rotary.

Great work Scott!
I know it would kill me knowing how well the RR would look after polishing it with UF. I hope you get to polish it one day again.
The truck and the porsche look great as well.

The Phantom mats are sheepskins.

With taping off and maybe needing an intermediate polishing step, I really don`t save all that much time. The real benefit is that I can remove deeper defects than I otherwise could.
I`d consider parting with the Cyclo since I have the rotary for heavy corrections and the UDM and PC for lighter work or finishing.
Pat-I have a Porter Cable 7428.
Bryan-I`d love to polish out the Rolls but I fear a couple tunnel washes or crappy hand washes or whatever he is having done with undo my work in a wash or two. :(

Shoot me a PM or email me about the Cyclo: age, wear, accesories, $$$, etc.
