View Full Version : Red lotus revisited today.

The car has been washed about 10 times since I detailed it. I saw some marring here and there but otherwise the paint is still in very good condition.



The whole front is being repainted and will be protected with armor-guard spray on clear instead of the more common clear bra.

One of my favorite cars, if for no other reason than the bare bones-ness of it. The only other car above it being a tvr.

Nothing to it today. We just dropped it off, but when I did work on it I used:



qew

clay

HTEC purple wool 1800 rpm X2 in most areas

3M Ultra Fina blue ccs pad 1800 rpm

CG Ez Creme pc 6 white pad

OS pc 5 black pad

Scholl Spray wax

Z16 on tires

OS on wheels

Awesome work as usual! I get to work on a grey one in the next few weeks here to get it ready for a show pre it going to the track. By the way, I posted up that site design info on that thread. PM me if you`re still interested or have any questions.

Very cool car Thomas! I thought I was reading that the spray on clear bra is junk. I think it was on rennlist...

What size wheels are those? I love it! Is it lowered to your knowledge? What mods have been done?

The wheels are new, but I don`t know the size. I`d say 17s?



I don`t think that anything else is done to the car.



I finally have an excellent painter that I can recommend. I trust him. He likes the spray better. You should have seen the kind of body work he was doing on a cobra in his shop. Unreal!



In about 2 weeks the car should be ready and I will tell you what I think of the spray on protection.
