Hi. The car is just wash and a layer of KAIO is use on the car. A second layer of KAIO is use on a section that has swirl marks and it seem that a few of the swirl mark is remove. The question is the thing to use now. There are swirl marks on the car that need to be remove and the thing need to apply by hand. The choice is one more layer of KAIO, the Klasse Glaze or use Souveran carnauba paste wax. The Menzerna finishing glaze does not seem to remove the swirl mark and not going to use it. For the Souveran carnauba paste wax, if it is apply after the KAIO, then can the Klasse sealant be apply after or is it going to be on the car? How long can the KAIO with the Souveran carnauba paste wax going to last? Is the layer of Souveran carnauba wax going to change the amount of time the KAIO is on the car? What is a good applicator for it? Is a foam applicator or microfiber applicator good for removing swirl mark? What is a good process to use for the car and the things here? Thanks.

I think from past research that the sealant needs to be applied directly after the KAIO or at least to a clean preped surface. I can`t remember where I read it, but it was about acrylic bonding requirements is you want to do a search. Also, on the Optimum forum there`s an acrylic vs. polymers thread that goes into it a little.

Thanks for the reply. The Klasse glaze need be apply on top of the KAIO and can`t be put on the Souveran carnauba paste wax. For the swirl mark, is it good to put one more layer of KAIO or the Klasse glaze? The Souveran carnauba paste wax is going to be put after the swirl mark is remove. What is a good process to remove the swirl mark and applying by hand? Is putting the Souveran carnauba paste wax going to cause the KAIO or Klasse glaze to not be on the car as long? Thanks.

Can`t help you with the hand app. question, but the second layer of KAIO will remove the nuba, then hit it with the KSG, allow at least a couple hours if not 12-24 hours then top with the Souveran. Is it a scratch or some swirls you are needing to remove. Using a poish or light compound (made for hand application, see label) is your best bet, but that area will have to be prepped again afterwards.
