Caring for an Extractor - Tips Needed

To clean an extractor do you simply add water and vinegar and spray and reclaim?



If so how much vinegar per gallon?



If not how do you all clean out your extractor?



How often do you do the cleaning process?



Any other general maint. tips?

My old extractor was a Mylee that came with it`s own cleaner (that was mixed 1L with 1L water). My rep had advised me to clean once per week, but that was too often. I found once per month was good enough, but that all depends on how often you use it. You have the process right on.



I would also pull the vacuum hose and run water through it for 5 minutes as well.
