Hey everyone.

I paint car parts sometimes. After 2-3 days, I sand with 1500 (to removes runds/dust nibs) then sand with 2000.

I ordered a Makita 9227 last week. I want recommendations for what pads to get? what size? what color?

I know I`ll need a wool pad to remove the sanding scratches. How about a foam pad? white/orange/black? what size/brand?

...

I was originally interested in SystemOne but after doing some search it looks its not best suited for me?

There are too many options: 3M, Meguairs, Farcela, SystemOne, ...

I am lost :nixweiss

Thanks in advance.

`I ordered Meguairs M105 and #82 swirl free polish.\r\n\r\nCan I use the pads that come with Makita buffer : Makita 9227C 7 inch Circular Polisher (http://www.autogeek.net/ma927po.html)\r\n\r\nor I am better off using LC or Meguairs soft buff pads?`
