Okay ...with all this talk about undercarriage sprays, I`m looking for a undercarriage wand for my PW.

There does not seem to be alot out there so underbody wands out there....

Anyone know of a nice metal wand set with flexiable adjustable tips ?

In a recent thread, David Fermani linked to a place that has one. I`d search on his username and "wand" or "undercarriage". It cost ~$750 though.

That is one serious UC wand. I was just looking for something like this.....

Tired of scrubbing the wheelwells. Hose blast is not enough without mechanical agitation. Me wonders if a PW would do the trick

chefwong- For wheelwells the nozzle/wand you showed there might be just the thing. I have a flexible nozzle for my (always inop  ) Karcher that`s basically the same thing and it`s probably the best thing I`ve tried for non-mechanical cleaning of such areas. Better than the garden-hose-powered ones like what Griot`s sells IMO, not that I`ve ever tried one of those.

I dunno...I just prefer doing them via mechanical agitation :nixweiss Devil`s advocate argument: wouldn`t want to blast [stuff] up into crevices and/or hit some wheelwell cladding the wrong way with too much pressure; a PW would mess up stuff in my MPV`s one rear wheelwell where the cladding isn`t all *that* securely attached and it`d be too much for some of my other vehicles too (but, uhm..."OK dummy, just turn the PW down a bit" does come to mind though ;) ).

Heh heh, if my PW weren`t dead I might be using it, so take the above line of reasoning for no more than it`s worth. With the Blazer all winter-dirty at the moment you have me thinking that I wish my PW were working :D

If you`re looking to upgrade your Karcher.....

I have one coming in as soon as their container docks port ;-)

I love the electrics for their quietness. I have a K499 on order

chefwong- Somehow I missed seeing that one  I found the 599, but not the 499.

Here`s the USA distrib site

The shuttle series is nice and I was looking at their 1900 model series as well. But during operation, it still needs to lie horizontal - so I opted for their Quadro series. I stuck with the K499 for more versatility even though I`ll only be using it at home.

They also have 220 variants....

Ah, OK...looks like a quality unit all right.
