My son goes off to college soon and I gave him my old gal here. Its a 94 and she`s only got around 36,000 miles on her.

The paint was in bad shape.....lots of tree sperm and bird crap and all kind of nasty biological crap.

What was not green and growin` was already raising its young.......:Picture:

We washed, clayed, and used Mozerna and an orange pad....Ubelievable how the ol gal cleaned up. Doggone it I forgot the B4 pics...so you`ll just `

hafeta trust me. It wuz N A S T Y ! !

Awesome work! Could you share your steps on making that engine bay so brilliant? Products & steps?

My thoughts exactly. Although I wonder how one pisses on a chevy with the chevy so far ahead of them...

I used simple green and elbow grease and brushes........and toothbrushes to get in the itty bitty places......then I rinsed it and then used off the shelf engine degreaser.......waited about 2 heinikens and hosed it off with a shower stream.....then a blowjob with the leafblower

and some water based non greasy dressing safe for rubber......

Looks good! How do you have a 94 truck with only 36k on it?!

OT: With that K&N intake, why does it still have the stock intake facing forward? Wouldnt you just take all that off of did you just leave it?

I have company vehicles I drive the hell out of and save my personal ones. I replace our Chevy astrovan that was 10 years old with the tahoe.....the van had 38999 on the clock. I gave it to my parents.

Ray in Kingwood- I really love makeovers of real *drivers* :xyxthumbs Thanks for sharing this with us, it looks great.

I`d get some Eastwood Rust Encapsulator and some of their specialty paints do do some of those underhood bits. I did that on some of my beater projects and was astounded how well it worked.
