I want the protection of sealant but want the wetness of a glaze.

The combo I`m thinking is whatever sealant in my stash .... OS or Z5Pro, followed by RMG and then Souveran.

I`ve used DG 105, DWG and Souveran or Clearkote Carnauba Wax.

Personally, the sealant and DWG work great without the nuba. All a matter of taste.

RMG is oily and it has cleaners - I`m not sure if it`ll play nice over a sealant. I know for a fact that Meg`s #7 makes a mess over sealants, as it can`t get into the paint. DWG is more likely to work well with a sealant than RMG.

Used DWG topped w/ OS, then finished w/ Souveran - Outstanding look, but the Souveran is a dust magnet. Even FK 425 QD did not reduce the dust attraction of Souveran.

So now, DWG topped w/ OS as a LSP. Lower dust and the DWG provides wetness/depth and OS the shine. So I don`t miss my old favorite Souveran as omitting it loses near nothing with this combo and is reduces the dust problem.

Plus, acrylic DWG can be layered/sandwiched between OS in alternating fashion. FK 425 or even Z8 also helps keep dust even lower.

Currently (like this weekend) I`m using sealant and just put some Zymol Titanium "glaze" over top. I plan on topping the Titanium with one last coat of sealant (Ultima) before the weekend is over...

I have used Glaze, Sealant, Then Carnauba.. for a excellent combo....

Seems like the glaze would diminsh the sealant somewhat, used the other way.

I`ve heard here that if the glaze is applied before the sealant, the sealant`s durability will significantly lessen.

I did CarLack68 SG + Mothers Sealer and Glaze + P21s 100% Nuba wax and it worked well.

Just this weekend I did 2 coats of UPGP, followed by 2 of DWG, followed by 1 more coat of UPGP to seal in the glaze. I plan to top it tomorrow with P21s 100%.

So how does it look now? DO you think the DWG made any significant change to the look of the paint from just the UPGP?

I would say it increased the wetness by about 35-40%.

Ok, so below are the pics. Again, the process is 2 coats of UPGP, followed by 2 of DWG, followed by 1 more coat of UPGP and one coat of P21S100%. This left the car super wet and the flakes exploding out of the paint.
