I cannot quite remember how old was this car but easily should be around 4-5 years old. All the while not very well taken care of so you can imagine the condition of the paint was. Basically there were swirls and scratches all over the car; this is what you will see with the halogen light,

Even under natural lighting, this is what you can see

After a good wash down and “intensive” claying, I proceed with the steps as follow for the defects removal,

1) Menzerna IP + Green wool pad + rotary @ 1800rpm (mainly to the horizontal panels and the most serious area)

2) IP/RMG mix + orange pad + DA @ speed 5

And this is what I got,

Even under natural lighting you can see an obvious improvement on the clarity of the paint work too.

Last but not least we come to the boot area,

Next, I carried on with the following steps,

3) Pink Moose (VM/RMG mix) + white polishing pad + DA @ speed 4

4) Victoria Concours Red Wax applied by hand using foam applicator pad

By the time I finished with the exterior it was already pretty late, so I decide to go for the photo shots first instead of doing the interior. Lucky enough, managed to capture a few decent shots to show the condition of the car before the sun went down.

That`s a really impressive turn around, something to aspire to...I just started using a rotary 3 weeks ago.
