I am a mobile detailer and think I am going to purchase one this year (my 2nd year in business). Which ones do you all suggest? Not looking to break the bank on one.

TYIA!

I had the mytee 8070 and it worked very well. I did not think I was getting enough interior jobs to let a $750 machine sit around so I sold it. Then I found a great deal on a Mytee HP60 from a local guy and decided to give it a try for a while. The HP60 with its 137" of lift comparted to the 8070 with its 85" is the noticable difference between the two as well as the $1100-1200 price new for the HP60. Also the HP60 has the drying option. Look at the mytee site to see the specs.

Wait, you sold your 750$ extractor because you couldn`t justify the cost to earnings ratio, so you go out and buy a larger more expensive one?

And I thought my wife was irritated with my spending habits!

My wife was so happy when I told her I was going to sell the 8070 and not so happy when I bought the HP60. :bat :nervous: :sosad

I remmeber a while ago, you can probably search, a lot of people had trouble with the Durrmaid but not Aztec. The machines look a lot alike but I think the internals are different.

What do you folks think about spending a few more extra bucks for a heavier duty Mytee II unit? Isn`t that one more powerful + more features and only $50 more?

What do you think?

I bought a Durrmaid last year. It`s now collecting dust because it`s broke. Not only did it start leaking water soon after I got it, but it finally just stopped working. According to the Durrmaid owner, it was the pump. So, $50 (not including shipping) I have a new pump. I was told that I could install it myself. Good one! Upon trying to install the new pump, I broke another component because there`s no room to work to put in a new pump.

I`m so freakin mad that I`ve basically lost $600+ on this piece of crap. Now, I`m trying to find another extractor to replace it.

I thought it was, but apparently not. I still got charged for he replacement pump, and then was instructed to fix it myself.
