Ready to pull the trigger on my first polisher--a Flex. Saw the quick-change adapter for the Edge pads (I like using different sizes depending on application) although not sure when the adapter will be available.

YouTube - Edge 2000 Flex Conversion!!!!! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FykiFauXtB4&eurl=http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/porter-cable-7424-buffing-pad-forum/11733-what-pads-flex.html)

That said, what pads do Autopians like best Edge, Lake Country etc.

Thanks in advance.

LC CCS 6.5" pads work fine for me! That said, never tried other pads...

I like and own both brands of pads . I like the edge for the flexablity and ease of going from 1 size to another with out having to change the backing plates and the ability to to have to types of pads on one wool or foam and it is always centered perfectly everytime . But you can`t go wrong with either brand

FYI...Aaron from Edge said the Edge pad adapters will be available in the next 2-3 months.

Sure looks like a great idea.
