So, ive done a lot of research on this wax, NXT 2.0, and i like the way it sounds so i ended up buying a bottle at Kragen for about $18, but the one thing that concerns me is that it has abrasives in it? Im not 100% sure that it does, but if it does, would i be doing more harm to my vehicle than protection if i use it about once a month? (Im new to autopia and this is my first post so if it was already answered in another thread, my bad)

Wow ... this reply is a little late. I just stumbled across this post.

The NXT Tech Wax contains some mild cleaners, but you shouldn`t have any problems using it monthly.

I dont` know if the cleaners in it are abrasive or not, but it won`t hurt your vehicle at all just don`t go over the rubber trim with it or it may stain them.

NXT seems fine on rubber trim IME.

It just has some mild cleaners so you can put it on as much as you like but it should last you a few months. It stains the trim but after a wash or two it seems to come off.

NXT 2.0 is the new version. It will not stain trim. Make sure to let this wax dry longer than other waxes. It seems to contain alot of oil properties, therefore more time is needed to dry(formulate), otherwise it will blotch your paint-especially noticeable on black paint.

Also keep in mind that NXT, #21 (1.0 or 2.0) both need a cure time of 10-12 hours before topping with another coat or another wax. Otherwise those slight cleaning properties will just remove the first coat. The only thing you`d be doing is wasting a lot of wax, time, and ensuring proper coverage.
