I`m trying to post a new thread in car and driver, but it`s giving me errors. Whenever I hit submit it just goes to a blank page. Is anyone else having any trouble. This is also a test to see if it works.

That thread worked. I tried the other thread in IE and it give me a page cannot be displayed.

What I`m trying to post is relatively lengthy.

Thanks

does it have pictures in it?

if so you need 10 post first otherwise it will go into a mod`s que for review

No it does not. I saw that and have some posts awaiting approval in that queue. It does not get that far though. Those posts have a message saying you may need review/approval to post. (Forget the exact wording)

bumoftheday,

Try using a different title for your thread. For whatever reason, our current version of vB occasionally chokes on a new thread, and it seems to be related to the characters in the title. If you can`t get the thread to submit with a very simple title (try it with no punctuation or special symbos), let me know.

Thanks,

Tort

I ended up posting a thread saying test and editing it. http://autopia.org/forum/car-driver/103017-buying-new-car.html#post1077333 is the post. Any reason you can see why it wouldn`t post?

Thanks,

bum

Thanks,

bumNo, nothing obvious. As I said, our forum software seems to choke on some thread titles, and we really don`t know why or what seems to cause it. It`s not related to how many posts you have; some long-time members have had the same issue crop up.

Good to see you found a workaround . . .
