I have researched this topic and read everyones opinion about glazes, but I would love to know which glaze you all like the best.

Interms of shine, filling ability and compatibility with waxes/sealants.

For shine, wetness, and compatibility with waxes and sealants (under or on top) there is nothing better than Danase Wet Glaze. However, no filling ability, but I don`t use it for that, but for the other properties.

The predictable one, deservedly so...RMG.

I really like that product but I was hopeing for something with a bit of fillers (I have black car) and I would like to mask some of the swirls between polishes. I just got my car detailed and I am hoping to minimize swirls and marring, but I know with a black car it is almost impossible.

I also meant to add, I was looking for a glaze to do by hand.

To help hide swirls on my Jet Black paint and add gloss, I use Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish as a base for whatever sealant I plan to layer over it. Look at blackfireusa.com for more details. I have read that you can use sealants over it. I would probably try the Danase Wet Glaze next but I need the swirl filling abilities until something better comes along, besides a full-blown compounding/polishing session which would take me a whole weekend with a random orbital polisher.;)

Take care,

Jim

Another +1 for DWG. Experimented this weekend (sorry no pics) with half the hood with CMW and Liquid Souveran (silver metallic paint). The LS reflection looked a little sharper than CMW.

Then I applied some DWG over the entire hood. WOW. Crystal clear reflection and very wet appearance. I`ve read some use DWG as their favorite topper and I have to agree. Better durability than most glazes since its acrylic based. A little goes a long way too.

DWG might be my favorite product where the results equal the hype. You can use it with either nuba or an acrylic sealant.

Well it seems like it`s a toss up between RMG and Danese. I looked up RMG and it states that It is used with a machine. I unfortunately do not own one so I would need to do it by hand.

Any other opinions on glaze??

Finish Kare #300 Hand Glaze or #1 New Car Glaze. Latter is a sealant glaze which will add protection too. It cures fairly long, and the low initial slickness will improve overnight along with the appearance.

But RMG is nice too. Have you tried Meguiar`s #7?
