New To Detailing

Hi im quite new to detailing and have been in love with cars since I was a little kid and am now only 16. I have always hand washed with meguiars gold class, air dried with leaf blower, dried with microfiber, clayed, then waxed with meguiars liquid gold class(mercedes c 230 brown) and have tried to polish out scratches by hand but have not been able to get any results:cry: . I was thinking of getting a porter cable 7424, but I am on a tight budget. Is this a good deal:(with pads and polishes from different vendors)
