Single stage paint :D:D

Full Paint correction was the order. Some of the paint measured in the 70s but all swirls were removed anyways. Some random scratches remained here and there but you have to look to see even with the halogens.

My favorite picture it was getting late and didn`t take enough good pictures. Pretty hard with yellow.

NO ONE HAS REPLIED TO THIS YET!?!!

Wow man, I didnt know yellow could shine so nicely. Great work!! As much as i like type-r`s you would think they would hook you up with some better wheels. Get some advans on that thing and good to go!

:) Nice post. thanks

I am very impressed Thomas!!

What a huge difference. The owner must have been totally surprised with the outcome.

I don`t use P21S very often, but whenever I have a yellow car to detail, I use it for an LSP. It`s probably the best looking carnauba I have ever used on yellow. It just gives an incredible glow!!

Top notch work :2thumbs:

excellent work, I just did a 2001 base, that had been painted on all over the place, what a pain. The black interior in it seemed to be a dust magnet

I forgot that the Phoenix Yellow Type R was a single stage paint.

Really good turn around. I really like the P21 as an LSP on yellow. Looks just as good as Souveran.

Awesome detail!!!! I`m surprised wool was the only thing that worked on this car. Got me worried now as I`m doing a yellow ITR this spring as well in similar condition. Did you find a lot of dirt particles were caked on to the back of the vehicle? When I had done a yellow ITR (same one that I`ll be doing this spring), after clay there was still tons of dirt embedded in the paint.

Great job again! Yellow looks really nice when done properly!

wow - lovely gloss finish you have achieved there....

my garage queen is SS yellow and hard as rock. Makes my Audi clear seem soft :buffing:

Havent yet got it fully corrected with UDM only, but yours seems like the process I need. Looks like wool on the rotary is what I need.

Hey guys! Thanks for the responses.

The paint was very clean hardly needed claying. No particles to speak of.

Even and orange pad and the rotary couldn`t cut it. That purple foam wool pad is an excellent creation.
