OK, I had ordered Victoria Red C wax earlier in January, it finally arrived after 20 days. Well I was so excited to try it out with the way they recommend, by your bare hand.

After a few glasses of wine I wiped down a quarter of the hood with ONR then proceeded to apply the wax by hand.

Well to make a long story short, if any of you plan to apply wax by the bare hand, PLEASE REMOVE ANY WEDDING BANDS!!!!!:nono

I had just polished my wifes car a few weeks ago and now have a good sized scratch on the hood, well at least the wax looks good!:angry

Sorry to hear your misfortune

It should be a rule of thumb to remove all jewelry (watches, braclets, rings) when detailing to avoid such situations

Live and learn....

I think the real rule of thumb might be no wine before detailing. :xyxthumbs

LOL, its 8:00 pm here and I was in the garage to have a smoke and just had to try it on a small section. I was getting ready for this weekend when the weather is supposed to be in the 50`s & 60`s!
