Right now i am using meguiars quik interior detailer, but I am running low. It seems to do alright, it does give a decent smell and clean the dust off, but it gives little to no shine. It just looks clean. I have poorboys trim restorer coming, but I bought that for my exterior trim. It seems like I can use it for my interior. Is there anything else I can buy for just my interior that cleans and shines. I wanted PB trim restorer I guess for my exterior trim. What is everyone using for interior?

Optimum Protectant Plus. I like the smell alot (which is crazy because it has a chemical type odor), but it does a great job at cleaning up and protecting the interior.

I have also tried the NXT interior detailer and it has the NXT smell; but that got old after a while. Quick interior detailer, however, is a favorite.

Quick interior detailer is a favorite, wow didnt know that. It does a good job taking the dust off, but offers no shine i guess. I will look into OPP.

I really like the QID over anything else I have tried... if you are looking for shine though, it is not really going to do much in that dept. It does a great job of presenting a very clean surface though, and that`s all I want in my interior.

Yhe great thing about QID is that it doesn`t give any shine. I don`t want a greasy look in my car.

That is true after reading all these interior protectants, it gives a nice new clean trim, not a shiny dress. So I guess i never really had any problems with QID. :) I thought interior sprays wanted to give a nice glossy shine on the inside just like the outside, i guess not.

why is it dumb

it`s about what you want

Thats true, I just want some more shine than QID gives.

ok good

I would then recommend cleaning with woolite @10:1

and then Finish Kare protectent (I think it`s 108)

if you want OTC Meg has a low shine protectent that I though was good

if you want more shine then that ther are countless protectents you could try

If you were going to Carquest anyway to look for DG`s car wash concentrate, look for the UD Vinyl & Leather Dressing. It has a fresh, clean scent (better than the eucalyptus scent of Meg`s QID) and it leaves a decent shine, although I have to admit I prefer the natural sheen of Meg`s Detailer Water-Based dressing diluted at 2:1

I tried to search and ya some people were talking about finish kare 108, also that is true about the DG`s CWC I was going to get at carquest. The thing is I want to get something off autogeek again. I have a $10 gift certificate. I am just thinking of something to get.

I think im going to try OPP, seems that alot like it. Is this for protection after its cleaned or does this provide cleaning also?
