I finally got a chance to clean my truck up a couple days ago. Most people told me I should have gotten a professional to do it because the paint was in such bad shape and I planned on it at first but then decided to see what I could do on it myself. I got a UDM for Christmas and bought some menzerna SIP and 106FF polish and I had some old liquid mequires carnuba wax that I threw on top of all that for now. I think with this being my first time I got great results...Not perfect but 110 times better than before. The previous owner of this truck just seemed to really neglect how he washed this thing.

I`ll start off with the first day I brought it home. The paint doesnt look so bad from a distance right?

And heres some afters. Unfortunetly I only got to do the hood, the passenger side, and back end before my buffer died but as soon as I get my replacement I`ll finish it all out.

What was the temperature while you were working on your truck? I heard Menzerna doesn`t like to work in cold weather and I had a little trouble with hazing when working in 30-40 degree weather.

Truck looks awesome by the way.

The SIP and 106FF is one of the best combo out there IMO . No need to take it to a pro , you got it down .

Steve,

unfortunetly it did die. Just quit working after about 4-5 hours of use, but I already got a replacement on the way. Great customer service.

Mhaynes, the temp was 30f outside and I did have trouble getting the sip off. It kept leaving a light hazing and i kept having to change to a clean microfiber towel occasionally.

If you are polishing after sip, you don`t have to waste time wiping it off. 106 will take care of that.

Excellent work!
